Anaheim, CA – January 29, 2022
Angels Stadium was home to round 1, 4 and will host round 6 in just a few short weeks. Located just minutes from factory test tracks, many team office and the mecca of our industry, Anaheim has always been a rider and fan favorite alike. This season has already seen its fair share of drama, crashes, rivalries and crushed championship dreams; but TPJ Racing Team rider Colby Copp #645 is on the gas and aiming for a Main Event start and gaining some much-needed Championship points.
Colby Copp #645 has 4 rounds under his belt now and he’s continuing to improve and learn new lessons each week. With only 2 weekends left before the West Coast Championship takes a break; he knows he needs to strike fast at Glendale and Anaheim 3. Heading into the hiatus with points to his name will make the 6 weeks off easier to bare.
Here’s what Colby had to say about his race: “A2 had lots of positives to take away, in qualifying I had a tough crash that left me pretty sore for the day. Heat 1 was STACKED, I got a great start and was riding really good and finished 11th. In the LCQ I was caught behind the first turn crash then moved my way up then a rider went down right in front of me and I tipped over and had some troubles starting my bike since it fell upside down. All in all a great night for me and I gave it my best! Back to work to keep moving forward.”
