Ben, could you give me a brief history of your time in moto? Where you started out? Some of your career highlights?
I started riding in Wasilla, AK, my dad bought me a PW50 for Christmas and I just loved every time I got on the bike as a kid and wanted to do it everyday. I have won over 30-40 amateur titles, I won Loretta Lynn’s twice, finished 12th overall in 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross championship in the 450 class, 20th overall in 2014 AMA Monster Energy Supercross championship in the 450 class.
What brought you to Supercross this season?
After racing Arenacross 2 years, I decided to move back to SX because I enjoy the bigger tracks, the bigger bike, and it suits my riding style better.

How have you been preparing for the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross season?
I have been focusing on my fitness to where it is no factor in my performance. I feel great on the bike and have been working hard on race fitness.
How was your racing season in 2017?
2017 was fun racing AX, I got a few main event wins and learned a lot of racing techniques.
What are you looking forward to most in 2018?
I’m looking forward to most is battling with top factory riders and proving myself I can do it.

What are your thoughts on joining the TPJ Racing team for 2018?
Ted Parks runs a fantastic program, he has a driven mindset on racing, and a great group of sponsors so I am confident it will be a great season together.
What round of SX are you most looking forward to in 2018?
I don’t have a special race, All 17 rounds are all the same. I just take 1 race at a time and do my best.
