SCHMIDT RETURNS, TPJ DEBUTS NEW FLY GEAR
The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series stop at Washougal marks the final stretch of the season. TPJ Racing travelled from the races at Millville the weekend before to make it to the event over the weekend.
Kicking off the weekend was the 2017 Fly Racing launch party. TPJ Racing had the honor of attending the launch of the all-new Fly Racing gear for 2017. Not only did we have the opportunity to be a part of the launch, TPJ Racing riders Dustin Pipes and Nick Schmidt debuted the new gear while racing at Washougal.
Both Pipes and Schmidt managed to qualify for the main event at Washougal, and went on to perform strongly in the two televised motos. Pipes would finish 23rd in the first moto and finish the final moto with a solid 17th place to round out his weekend in 20th overall. Schmidt put together great motos in his first weekend back, finishing 17th and 37th to finish 21st overall. Both riders were looking strong, as well as stylish in the new Fly Racing gear.
