TPJ RACING at SOUTHWICK

THE OFFICIAL TEAM UPDATE FROM SOUTHWICK.

img-6214.jpgThe Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series returned to the iconic Southwick location on July 9.  The TPJ Racing crew was one of many teams to make it out to this event for a weekend at the races with thousands of excited race fans.

At the rider’s meeting Saturday morning the TPJ Crew was surprised to learn that TPJ Racing rider, Dustin Pipes, had earned his second RC Hard Charger award this season, based on his performance at Red Bud the weekend before. The TPJ Racing team is extremely proud of Pipes, who continues to contribute all of his effort into his racing.

Pipes would line up again this weekend to fight for his chance to the main event at Southwick. Days of rain made for a grueling track that was not to Pipes’ strong suit, and he fought hard to turn fast laps, but at the end of qualifying he found himself in the consolation race. While Pipes pushed nearly to a qualifying position, washing out near the end of the race cut his hopes short. Although Pipes didn’t make it to the main event this weekend at Southwick, he has proven time and time again that he is capable of charging further. We are looking forward to seeing his performance this weekend at the next round at Spring Creek.

The TPJ Racing team is grateful to all our sponsors and fans for their unwavering support. Our next stop will be in Millville, MN for Spring Creek – we hope to see you there!
